Before your customers can pay online, you’ll need to activate payments. Durable uses Stripe to securely process online payments.

Once enabled, every invoice you send will automatically include a secure payment link, allowing your customers to pay instantly using supported payment methods in your country.

Step 1: Navigate to Payment Settings

  1. Go to Settings in your Durable dashboard

  2. Select Payments

  3. Click Enable payments

Step 2: Complete the Onboarding Form

Stripe requires certain business and personal details to verify your account and comply with financial regulations.

You may be asked to provide:

  • Business details such as business name, industry, and website

  • Personal details including legal name, address, and date of birth

  • Bank account information for payouts

  • Proof of identity depending on your country

This process follows Stripe’s standard onboarding requirements.

Step 3: Submit and Activate Payments

Once your information is verified:

  • Your account will show Payments Enabled

  • New invoices will automatically include a Pay Online link

  • Customers can pay using supported methods in your region

If Stripe requires additional information later, you may be prompted to upload documents or confirm details.

After Payments Are Enabled

Once active:

  • Customers can pay invoices online

  • Payments are deposited into your connected bank account

  • Durable marks invoices as Paid automatically when payment is confirmed

  • You can manage refunds and disputes from the Payments dashboard

Enabling payments helps you get paid faster while providing a seamless experience for your customers.
