Accessing Canvas
Unleash your creativity by diving into Canvas! Here's how to get started:
From your dashboard, navigate to Studio on the left-hand menu bar.
To start a fresh design, click the New canvas option.
Alternatively, if you're looking for a head start, click All templates to browse a variety of pre-designed options.
Choosing Your Canvas Size
When you click New canvas, a window will appear, allowing you to select the ideal dimensions for your project. Canvas offers popular presets perfectly sized for various social media platforms:
Square: 1080 x 1080 pixels
Landscape: 1920 x 1080 pixels
Portrait: 1080 x 1920 pixels
Instagram post: 1080 x 1350 pixels
Instagram story: 1080 x 1920 pixels
Facebook post: 1200 x 630 pixels
Simply select the size that best fits your content needs, then click Create.
Naming Your Design
Keeping your designs organized is easy in Canvas:
Once your blank canvas appears, look to the top left of the screen. You'll see 'Untitled' with a small pencil icon next to it.
Click the pencil icon.
Type a descriptive name for your design (e.g., 'April Campaign').
Your work is automatically saved in real-time, so you never have to worry about losing your progress!
Understanding the Canvas Workspace
Your Canvas workspace is designed for intuitive creation:
The large central area is your blank canvas, where all your visual elements will come together.
On the right side, you'll find the main control panel, offering options for Shapes, Text Styles, Images, and Background.
The top bar displays your design's name, along with options to Download your finished artwork and a 'Saved' status, confirming your changes are secure.
