Add and Customize a Call to Action Section

Use a Call to Action section when you want to guide visitors toward a clear next step on your site. This section is designed to capture attention and prompt action, such as contacting you, booking a service, or learning more about what you offer.

Call to Action sections work especially well for:

  • Encouraging visitors to get in touch

  • Driving email or phone inquiries

  • Linking to important pages or sections

  • Reinforcing your primary goal at key points on the page

They are most effective when placed:

  • Near the end of a page to convert engaged visitors

  • After a feature, gallery, or service section

  • Below a banner or hero section for immediate action

Add the Call to Action Section

  1. Click Add Section on your page.

  2. Select Call to Action from the section list.

  3. Click the section to add it to your page.

Durable will automatically add example text and buttons that you can customize.

Use the Section Toolbar

When you click on the Call to Action section, a toolbar appears at the top of the section.

From this toolbar, you can:

  • Open Design to adjust layout and styling

  • Move the section up or down the page

  • Delete the section

Use the toolbar to quickly manage the section’s placement and appearance.

Choose a Call to Action Layout

To change the overall structure of the section, click Design in the toolbar, then open the Layout tab.

From here, you can:

  • Browse available Call to Action layout options

  • Preview each layout before selecting it

Once you have selected a layout, click Done to apply it.

Customize the Call to Action Design

Within Design, select the Customize tab to control the visual presentation of the section.

Background Image

Under Background Image, you can add or update the image displayed behind your Call to Action content.

From here, you can:

  • Upload your own image

  • Select an image from the media library

  • Search for or generate an image

  • Replace or remove the current background image

  • Adjust the image positioning if needed

Using a background image can help reinforce your message and create stronger visual impact.

Text Alignment

Under Text Alignment, choose how the text and buttons are arranged within the section.

  • Center
    Centers the heading, supporting text, and call to action buttons. This option works well for short, focused messaging.

  • Split
    Displays the text and buttons in a split layout. This option is ideal when using background images or longer content.

Click Done to save your design changes.

Customize the Call to Action Content

Click directly on the Call to Action section to edit its content.

From here, you can:

  • Update the heading and supporting text

  • Change button labels

  • Configure where each button links

Set Up Call to Action Buttons

Under Call to Action, you can choose how each button functions.

  1. Update the Button label to match your goal, such as “Get in touch” or “Browse products.”

  2. Select a Link type, including:

    • Page link

    • External link

    • Email

    • Phone

    • Page section

  3. Enter the corresponding destination.

  4. Click Done to save your changes.

Buttons update immediately and are ready for visitors to use.

  • Keep your message clear and action-focused

  • Use concise language that tells visitors what to do next

  • Place Call to Action sections strategically throughout your page

  • Match the button label to the action you want visitors to take
