When to Use a Contact Section on Your Website

Use a Contact section to give visitors a clear and easy way to reach you. This section helps turn interest into action by allowing people to send questions, request quotes, or start a conversation directly from your site.

Contact sections are especially effective for:

  • Service based businesses that rely on inquiries or bookings

  • Local businesses that want to share contact details alongside a form

  • Consultants, coaches, or freelancers who want to encourage direct outreach

  • Any site where visitors may have questions before taking the next step

They work best when placed:

  • At the bottom of a page as a clear next step

  • On a dedicated Contact page

  • After pricing, services, or FAQ sections

Add the Contact Section

  1. Click Add Section on your page.

  2. Select Contact from the section list.

  3. Click the Contact section to add it to your page.

Once added, the section will include a contact form with example content that you can customize.

Use the Contact Section Toolbar

When you click on the Contact section, a toolbar appears above it.

From the toolbar, you can:

  • Open Design to change the layout and visual settings

  • Select Edit contact form to customize form fields and contact details

  • Move the section up or down on the page

  • Delete the section if needed

The toolbar gives you quick access to all Contact section controls.

Choose a Contact Layout

Click Design from the toolbar to open the Layout tab.

Under the Layout tab, you can:

  • Browse available Contact layouts

  • Preview layouts before applying them

  • Choose layouts with forms only or forms paired with contact details

Once you select a layout, click Done to apply it.

Customize the Contact Section

Switch to the Customize tab within Design to fine tune how the Contact section appears.

From here, you can:

  • Adjust content alignment, such as Center or Split

  • Control how the form and contact details are arranged

Changes apply immediately so you can see updates as you make them.

Edit the Contact Form

Select Edit contact form from the toolbar to manage form details and settings.

From here, you can customize:

  • Contact email where form submissions are sent

  • Contact phone and contact address, if displayed in the layout

  • Directions link for map based navigation

  • Form confirmation settings

This ensures messages are routed correctly and contact details stay up to date.

Customize the Success Message

Within Edit contact form, you can also update the success message shown after a form submission.

You can edit:

  • Success Title to confirm the message was sent

  • Success Message to explain what happens next

  • Success Button Label to guide the visitor’s next action

A clear success message builds trust and sets expectations for follow up.

Best Practices

  • Keep the form short to reduce friction

  • Use clear, welcoming language throughout the section

  • Place the Contact section where it feels like a natural next step

  • Confirm response timing in the success message when possible

  • Pair the section with a relevant image to make it feel more inviting
