Once your services are set up, managing your schedule and keeping track of appointments is simple with the Bookings calendar and Google Calendar integration.

Viewing Your Booking Calendar

Your booking calendar provides a clear overview of all your scheduled appointments.

  1. From your Durable dashboard, click Bookings in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. You'll see a calendar displaying your weekly schedule and any existing bookings.

  3. Use the Today button to quickly return to the current day.

  4. Click the left and right arrow icons to navigate to previous or upcoming weeks.

Manually Creating a New Booking

You can easily add bookings for customers directly from your calendar, for example, if they call you to schedule an appointment.

  1. On the booking calendar, click on an empty time slot on the desired day. Alternatively, click the + New booking button in the top right corner.

  2. A 'New booking' modal will appear.

  3. Under Service, select the service the customer wishes to book.

  4. Under Customer, click Select customer. You can either choose an existing customer or click + Add customer to enter new details (First name, Last name, Email, Phone). Click Add customer.

  5. The Date and Time will be pre-filled based on where you clicked on the calendar, but you can adjust them if needed.

  6. The Total price for the service will be displayed.

  7. Fill in any Pre-booking responses, such as an optional phone number or answers to custom questions.

  8. Click Create booking.

A confirmation message "Booking created successfully" will appear, and the new booking will be visible on your calendar.

Connecting and Syncing with Google Calendar

Integrate with Google Calendar to ensure your Durable bookings are always up-to-date and to manage your availability seamlessly.

  1. From the booking calendar view, click Settings in the top right corner.

  2. In the 'Settings' modal, click Integrations in the left sidebar.

  3. Next to 'Google Calendar', click Connect.

  4. You will be prompted to sign in with your Google account. Choose the account you wish to connect.

  5. Grant Durable permission to "View and edit events on all of your calendars" by clicking Allow.

  6. Once connected, you'll see several options:

    • Add bookings to Google Calendar: Toggle this On to automatically create events in your Google Calendar whenever a booking is made in Durable.

    • Sync Google Calendar events: Toggle this On to display events from your Google Calendar on your Durable booking calendar. This helps you see your full schedule in one place.

    • Respect busy status: When 'Sync Google Calendar events' is enabled, toggle this On to ensure that events marked as 'busy' in Google Calendar will block booking availability in Durable. If disabled, synced events will appear without blocking availability.

    • Auto-cancel bookings deleted from Google: Toggle this On to automatically cancel a booking in Durable and notify the customer if the corresponding event is deleted from your Google Calendar.

  7. You can click Sync now to manually trigger a synchronization of your calendars.

  8. To disconnect your Google Calendar, click Disconnect.

Editing or Deleting Booking Services

You can easily modify or remove any of your configured booking services at any time.

  1. From the booking calendar view, click Services in the top right corner.

  2. This will open the 'Booking services' modal, listing all your configured services.

  3. To edit a service, click on its entry. This will open the 'Edit service' form, where you can adjust any details like name, price, description, location, time options, or custom questions. Click Save service when done.

  4. To delete a service, open the 'Edit service' form, click the three dots (...) in the top right corner, and select Delete service. Confirm your choice.

By effectively managing your calendar and services, you ensure a smooth and professional booking experience for your customers!
