Configure Booking Settings: Hours, Visibility, and Google Calendar

Set your booking hours, visibility, and Google Calendar connection, and find your team settings.

Written by Leodith T.

Access Booking Settings

  1. Open your Booking page.

  2. Click Settings in the top-right corner.

  3. Use the left sidebar to move between settings pages. Your settings (Hours and Google Calendar) apply only to you. Business settings (Team, Visibility, and Payments) apply to your whole business. The business settings you can see and change depend on your role.

To set default payment and cancellation policies on the Payments page, see Setting Up Default Payment and Cancellation Policies for All Your Services.

Set Your Hours

Your hours determine when customers can book with you. Open Hours under Your settings to set your Time zone and Weekly schedule. Your weekly schedule starts from the hours set when you were added to bookings, and you can change it here at any time.

If you see You're not taking bookings, you haven't been added to bookings yet. Click Go to Team to add yourself, set your weekly schedule, and choose the services you offer. See Set Up Team Members for Bookings.

Set Your Time Zone

  • Select your preferred time zone.

  • All booking times will display based on this setting.

Set Weekly Availability

  1. Toggle on the days you are available.

  2. Set your working hours for each day.

  3. Click the + icon to add multiple time slots in a single day if needed.

Tip: Turn off a day to mark it as unavailable.

Adjust Visibility Settings

Visibility controls how and when customers can book appointments.

Show Booking Widget

  • Enable Show booking widget on your website to allow customers to book directly from your site.

Set Minimum Notice

Choose how much advance notice is required before a booking:

  • None

  • 30 minutes

  • 1 hour

  • 4 hours

  • 1 day

  • 2 days

  • Custom

This helps you avoid last-minute bookings if you need preparation time.

Set Maximum Advance

Define how far in advance customers can schedule:

  • 1 week

  • 2 weeks

  • 1 month

  • 2 months

  • Custom

This keeps your calendar manageable and prevents bookings too far in the future.

Connect Your Google Calendar

Google Calendar connections are per person, not per business. Connecting your calendar doesn't connect your teammates' calendars. Each person who takes bookings connects their own.

  1. Under Your settings, click Google Calendar.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Sign in and choose the Google account you want to use.

  4. Click Allow to give Durable permission to view and edit events on your calendars.

Once connected, you can enable:

  • Add bookings to Google Calendar
Automatically create calendar events when a booking is made. This is on by default.

  • Sync Google Calendar events
Display your existing calendar events within your booking calendar.

  • Respect busy status
Block booking availability during times marked as busy in Google Calendar.

  • Auto-cancel bookings deleted from Google
If an event is removed from Google Calendar, the corresponding booking is canceled automatically.

Manual Sync

  • Click Sync now to update your calendar immediately.

  • Click Disconnect to remove the connection.

Manage Your Team

Under Business settings, Team lists the people customers can book with, and anyone on your team who isn't bookable yet. From there, owners and admins can make team members bookable, set their schedules and services, and choose whether customers pick a person. Members can view other team members' availability, but can't change it. See Set Up Team Members for Bookings.

Best Practices

  • Set accurate working hours to avoid missed bookings

  • Use minimum notice to give yourself preparation time

  • Limit advance booking to keep your schedule flexible

  • Enable calendar sync to prevent double bookings

  • Regularly review your availability and settings
