Manage Google Reviews: Respond to Reviews Individually or in Bulk

Respond to Google reviews individually or in bulk using AI drafts.

Written by Mark

The Google Review Agent helps you manage your Google Business Profile reviews efficiently. It monitors new feedback, drafts AI responses, and allows you to approve or modify them before publishing. You can respond to reviews individually or handle multiple reviews at once.

Understand the Google Review Agent dashboard

When you navigate to the Google Review Agent, you'll see a dashboard that provides an overview of your review activity and pending tasks.

  • At the top, you'll find key metrics: your total Reviews, your Avg. rating, and the number of Pending replies.

  • The Needs your attention section lists all reviews that have not yet received a response. These are reviews awaiting your approval or modification.

  • The Recent responses section displays reviews for which a response has already been posted to your Google Business Profile.

Respond to individual reviews

The Google Review Agent streamlines the process of replying to customer feedback by providing AI-generated draft responses for each review.

  1. Go to your Durable dashboard and click on Google Reviews.

  2. In the Needs your attention section, click on any review you wish to address.

  3. Review the customer's original feedback and the AI-generated draft response provided by the agent.

  4. To post the AI-generated response as is, click Approve. A confirmation message "Response posted" will appear, and the review will move to the Recent responses section.

  5. If the draft response is not suitable, click Decline. This will discard the draft, and the review will remain in the Needs your attention section for you to address later.

  6. (Optional) To modify the AI-generated draft or request a new one, type your instructions into the Ask anything chat box at the bottom of the review detail screen. For example, you might type "Make it more formal" or "Add a thank you for their feedback." The AI Partner will then generate a revised response based on your input.

Respond to multiple reviews at once

The AI Partner can also help you respond to all your pending Google reviews in a single action, saving you time and ensuring timely engagement with your customers.

  1. In the Start a new chat box at the bottom of the screen, type a request to respond to all pending reviews. For example, you might type: "Respond to all pending reviews" or "Draft replies for all unaddressed feedback."

  2. The agent will analyze all unreplied Google reviews and generate draft responses for each. You will see a summary of the reviews found and the proposed replies.

  3. Review the agent's responses. You have two options:

    • To post all the suggested responses to your Google Business Profile, click Approve all.

    • To discard all the suggested responses and return to the main dashboard, click Decline. The reviews will remain in the Needs your attention section for you to address individually or with a new bulk request.

  4. (Optional) If you wish to modify any of the individual draft responses before approving them, type your specific instructions into the Ask anything chat box at the bottom of the review responses screen. The agent will revise the responses based on your input.

Once approved, the responses will be posted to your Google Business Profile, and the reviews will automatically move to the Recent responses section.

Regularly checking your Needs your attention section ensures timely responses, which can significantly improve your business's online reputation and customer satisfaction.

View recent responses

After you approve a response, it is automatically posted to your Google Business Profile, and the review moves from the Needs your attention section to Recent responses.

  1. From the Google Review Agent dashboard, scroll down to the Recent responses section.

  2. Here, you can view a history of all reviews you have responded to, along with the AI-generated replies that were posted.
