Thoughtful text styling makes your pages easier to read and helps important details stand out. Ask Dru when you want to revise the wording, then use the text controls to adjust emphasis, size, color, or links. The steps below help you refine selected text while keeping the rest of your page consistent.

Use Dru for wording

Select the heading or section and explain what should change: “Make this paragraph shorter while keeping the delivery details.” Review names, numbers, claims, and tone before keeping the result. Formatting and generated wording are separate changes; inspect both on the page.

Edit and select text

Click the text you want to change to edit it directly on the page. Select specific words to adjust their formatting.

You can also select the section and choose Edit manually beside the input in the Dru panel on the right to update its text in the editing panel.

The inline toolbar provides controls such as Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, text size, color, and a link. Formatting applies to the selected text rather than every heading on the website.

Change size and color

Select Aa in the text toolbar and choose XS, SM, MD, or LG. Select the color circle to choose a theme swatch. For a custom color, choose the rainbow swatch and enter your color value in the hex field. Check that the text is readable against its background.

For a consistent change to typography across your website, ask Dru to update the site's fonts, or use the site's font controls. For a section's arrangement or alignment, select the section and ask Dru for the intended layout. Follow Change colors, fonts, corners, and layouts for site-wide fonts, colors, and layout changes rather than formatting selected words.

Add or remove a text link

Select the words, choose the chain icon, enter the destination in Paste or type a link, and select the checkmark. Use a complete external address, such as https://example.com. Check the link in Preview.

Use the clear-formatting control to remove custom styles, sizes, and colors from selected text and return it to the site's default appearance. Review links afterward: clearing formatting can also remove a link.

Editing button text? Button labels have their own editing controls. They aren’t edited with the text toolbar.
