Add buttons and set link destinations

Connect buttons and text links to pages, websites, contact actions, sections, or bookings.

Buttons and links give visitors a clear way to take the next step, whether that means exploring a service, contacting you, or booking an appointment. Ask Dru to add or update a button, or use its manual settings to choose a label and destination. This guide also shows you how to check that each link goes where you intend.

Ask Dru to create or edit a button

Select the section and describe the button you need, including its exact label and destination. Ask for a style change separately if needed. If Dru explains that a style is shared, check which buttons will be affected before confirming.

Edit a button

Select the button on the page or open the containing section with Edit manually beside the input in the Dru panel on the right. Open the button's item in the panel. Use Button label to make the action clear, such as “View services” or “Book a consultation.”

Where the selected layout has a Buttons list, choose Add item to add another button, use the drag handle to reorder, or remove a button with the trash control. Ask Dru to add a button if the design does not expose an add control.

Choose its destination

Use Where it goes in the button editor to choose the destination:

  • A page on your website: select a page on your site.

  • Someone else's website: enter the full website URL.

  • An email address: enter the email address to open in the visitor's mail app.

  • A phone number: enter the number to call on a supported device.

  • A section of a page: use Page section to choose the section visitors should jump to.

  • Your booking page: open your Durable booking services. Follow Add Bookings to your website to set up services, availability, and the booking experience behind the button.

For an external address, replace placeholder destinations rather than appending to them. Under Icon, choose None, Left, or Right for the button's icon placement. Finish with Done, or choose Cancel to leave the panel.

Test your links

Use Preview to test every destination, including mobile navigation and booking buttons. Confirm that a section jump lands where expected and that phone and email details are correct. Publish the website changes when ready.
