Track Payments, Refunds, and Payouts

See the payments your customers make, issue refunds, and choose when payouts are sent to your bank.

Written by Mark

Every payment your customers make through Durable shows up in one place, whether it came from a booking, a Sell order, an invoice, or your website. Only the account owner can see payments and manage payouts.

If you haven't turned on payments yet, see How to Enable Payments in Durable. For booking deposits and cancellation fees, see Managing Booking Payments and Refunds.

Find a payment

  1. Click Money in the left sidebar, then Payments.

  2. You'll see each payment's amount, customer email, date, status, and payment method.

  3. To narrow the list, filter by:

    • Status: Blocked, Canceled, Disputed, Early fraud warning, Failed, Incomplete, Partially refunded, Pending, Refund pending, Succeeded, or Uncaptured

    • Payment method: Card or Bank account

    • Amount, Email, or Date

View a payment

Click a payment to see:

  • Payment details: status, date received, amount, a breakdown of processing fees, and the net amount you receive

  • Payment method details: the card's last 4 digits, network, expiry, country, and whether the CVC, street, and ZIP checks passed

  • Shipping: the recipient and address, for orders that are shipped

  • Timeline: when the payment was started, authorized, and captured

For how processing fees work, see Payment Methods and Processing Fees.

Refund a payment

  1. Click the payment.

  2. Click Begin refund and follow the prompts.

Check and change your payouts

  1. On the Payments page, click the Payouts tab.

  2. You'll see your Total balance, your next upcoming payout (estimated), and when it's scheduled.

  3. To change your schedule, click Update:

    • Automatic: choose every day, week, or month.

    • Manual: you choose when to pay out. You won't be able to see which transactions are included in each payout.

  4. To change where payouts go, click Edit next to Destination. Click Link another account to connect a bank, or edit your manually entered routing and account number.

Export payments

  1. On the Payments tab, click Export.

  2. Choose a date range, such as Today, Last 7 days, Current month, All, or Custom.

  3. Choose columns: Default, All, or Custom.

  4. Click Export.

Respond to a dispute

If a customer disputes a payment with their card issuer, its status changes to Disputed, and the disputed amount is taken from your account straight away. See Respond to a payment dispute.
