Create and Style a Text Section

Use a Text section when you want to add written content to your page without images or complex layouts. Text sections are ideal for sharing details, explanations, or supporting information that helps visitors better understand your business.

Text sections work especially well for:

  • Adding descriptions, background information, or context

  • Writing short introductions or supporting copy between sections

  • Highlighting policies, notes, or additional details

  • Creating simple content blocks without visual distractions

They are best placed:

  • Between major sections to provide clarity or transitions

  • Near the bottom of a page for additional information

  • Anywhere you need flexible, text-only content

Add the Text Section

  1. Click Add Section on your page.

  2. Select Text from the section list.

  3. Click the Text section to add it to your page.

The section is added with placeholder content that you can edit right away.

Use the Section Toolbar

When you click on the Text section, a toolbar appears above it.

From the toolbar, you can:

  • Open Design to adjust layout and styling

  • Move the section up or down the page

  • Delete the section if it is no longer needed

Choose a Text Layout

To change how the text is arranged, open Design from the toolbar.

Under Design, select the Layout tab.

From here, you can:

  • Browse available text layouts

  • Preview layout options before applying them

  • Choose how headings and body text are positioned

Once you have selected a layout, click Done to apply it.

Customize the Text Section

To adjust how your text appears, open Design and select the Customize tab.

From here, you can:

  • Set text alignment to Center or Left

  • Control how the text is visually aligned within the section

These settings help ensure your text matches the look and flow of the rest of your page.

Edit Text Content

To update the content in your Text section:

  1. Click directly into the text area.

  2. Replace the placeholder text with your own copy.

  3. Adjust headings or paragraphs as needed.

Your changes are saved automatically and appear immediately on the page.

Best Practices

  • Keep text clear, concise, and easy to scan

  • Break longer content into short paragraphs

  • Use Text sections to support visuals, not overwhelm them

  • Place text strategically to guide visitors through your page
