The website canvas brings your pages together so you can see the overall structure and focus on the details you want to change. Whether you are updating a heading or finding a site-wide setting, start here to learn how to move around the editor, select content, and work with Dru.

Open and explore your website

  1. Select Website in the left sidebar.

  2. Use the page selector at the top left to open a page, or zoom out to see your pages together on the canvas.

  3. Pinch on your trackpad to zoom in and focus on a single page, or zoom out to see all your pages on the canvas. You can also use the bottom + and − controls. Choose Fit to fit your view to the available space.

  4. Select a page to focus on it. The page names along the bottom let you move between pages.

Canvas zoom changes your editing view. It does not change the size of the website visitors see. Use Preview to check the visitor view.

Find the right controls

  • Page selector and page settings: choose or create a page with the selector at the top left. Open page settings using the gear beside the page name.

  • Design: use the control at the top center or the Design board to the left of your pages to work with the site's colors and fonts.

  • Add-ons: find it at the top left, beside the page selector, to open tools such as Bookings and SEO & GEO.

  • Site settings: use the gear in the upper-right corner to manage General settings, Domains, Languages, Integrations, Favicon, and Blog.

  • History: use the clock-and-arrow icon in the upper-right corner, beside Site settings, to review changes and undo an available change.

  • Preview and Publish: check your website and control when it becomes live.

  • Dru chat: use the panel on the right to describe a change. Choose Edit manually beside its input for the selected content.

Select what you want to change

Click a heading, image, button, or section. A blue outline identifies the selection, and a label in Dru's input shows what the request will affect. Selecting a heading is different from selecting the whole section. The footer can appear as Bottom bar.

Ask Dru to make the change, whether it is a text correction or a new layout. Describe the result and what should stay the same. You can also edit text inline or choose Edit manually for available fields. Review the page when the change finishes.

Save and preview

Changes save as you go. Wait for the saved state after a change. Publishing is a separate action. A preview-mode website can be shared by its preview link and remains hidden from search until you publish. For the steps to share a preview and choose the website's visibility, follow Preview, save, publish, and manage visibility.
