Your navigation and footer help visitors find their way around your website and reach the information they need. You can ask Dru to update their content or design, or adjust the available fields by hand. This guide covers both areas, including the footer labeled Bottom bar in the editor.
Open the area you want to edit
Select the navigation at the top of the page or the footer at the bottom. The footer appears as Bottom bar in Dru's selection label. Check the outlined area before making a change. Selecting the whole header shows Navigation bar in Dru's input; selecting an individual navigation link shows Link. Use that label to confirm whether your next edit targets the whole bar or one link.
Ask Dru
With the navigation or Bottom bar selected, describe the change in Dru's chat input. If you are already in the manual panel, use Ask Dru to return to chat. For example, ask “Add a Contact link to this footer” or “Make the navigation background darker without changing the links.”
For a structural change, describe the arrangement you want. For a precise phone number or destination, supply the exact information. Navigation and footer cannot be moved or deleted like ordinary sections.
Edit manually
Choose Edit manually beside the input in the Dru panel on the right.
Update the fields available for this design. A footer can include headings, buttons, menu links, phone details, short text, and small print.
Open a menu link or button to change its label and destination.
Where a list offers controls, use Add item, its drag handle, or its trash icon to add, reorder, or remove an item.
Select Done to apply the changes, or Cancel to leave the panel.
For the navigation bar, find Navigation links. Use a link's chevron to open its details, its dotted handle to reorder it, or its trash icon to remove it. Choose Add navigation link for another link. Add dropdown is also available in this panel.
Fields vary with the selected design. For example, a footer with three link columns can expose different fields from a simple footer with a logo and copyright line. Do not expect every footer to have the same headings or lists.
Check the result
The navigation bar and footer are shared across the site. Review more than one page after changing them.
Preview desktop and mobile navigation, open each destination, and check phone and email actions. Use Add buttons and set link destinations to choose the right destination type for page, external, email, phone, section, and booking links. Removing a menu link does not delete its page or make it private. Publish the navigation and footer changes when ready.
