A favicon is the small icon that helps visitors recognize your website in a browser tab. Use your logo or another simple image to carry your branding into that space. You can ask Dru to generate a new favicon, use an existing image, or open Favicon in site settings to manage it.
Ask Dru to generate or set your favicon
Ask Dru to generate a new favicon and describe the icon you want, or provide an image for Dru to use. Generated favicons are not shown inline in Dru chat. Review the result in Site settings → Favicon. The favicon is separate from the larger logo shown in your navigation or footer.
Open favicon settings
Open site settings using the gear in the upper-right corner of the website editor, then select Favicon. The favicon is separate from the larger logo shown in your navigation.
Choose an icon
Use the default option for an icon based on your business initials, or upload an image. If you already have an uploaded icon, use the replace control to choose another.
Choose a simple, recognizable image that works at a small size. A square image with a clear silhouette is easier to recognize than a detailed wordmark. Follow the file types and size limit shown in the uploader.
Check the result
Review the preview in the settings panel and save or confirm the change using the offered control. Open the website in a fresh browser tab to check its favicon. Browser and search-result caches may continue showing an older icon for a while. Google follows its own caching schedule, so a changed favicon can take several days to appear in search results. That delay alone does not mean the update failed.
Updating the favicon does not replace changing the logo in the navigation or footer. Follow Add or generate a logo to upload or generate that larger logo.
