A video can help visitors see your service in action, follow a walkthrough, or get to know your business. Add a video section when you want people to choose to watch it on your page. You can then add a helpful introduction and check that the player works on desktop and mobile.

Add the section

Open the page and tell Dru where the video section should go and what it introduces. You can also select Add section at the top or bottom edge of a section, then choose Browse designs in the panel on the right to find a video design. A section with a player is useful when visitors should choose to watch. To place motion behind or alongside your opening message instead, follow Add video to a banner.

Choose the video

Select the section, open Edit manually beside the input in the Dru panel on the right, and use its video field. Choose a library video or enter a supported video URL. The existing video workflow supports sources such as YouTube, Vimeo, and direct MP4 URLs; use the options and validation shown by your selected control.

Update the heading or description so visitors know what they will learn. Use Replace or Remove in the media control when you want to change the video.

Review playback

Preview the page and start the video. Check the full player on desktop and mobile, including any text around it. If a video does not load, check its sharing permissions and whether the URL is a supported embed or media source.

Autoplay is controlled partly by the browser and video provider and should not be promised. For provider-specific playback options, use the provider's embed code in an Embed section rather than assuming the normal video URL field exposes those options. Follow Add an embed section with custom code to place and test that code. Give visitors a clear way to start playback and keep important information available as text too. Publish the page changes when ready.
