Sections are the building blocks of your pages, from the opening banner to a gallery, FAQ, or contact form. Arrange them around what visitors need to learn and do next. You can ask Dru to add and shape a section, browse a starting design, and adjust the order as your page takes shape.
Add a section
Open the intended page.
Select Add section at the top or bottom edge of the selected or hovered section, where you want to add content. The New section goes here placeholder marks the insertion point.
Describe what you need in the New section composer, or choose Browse designs in the panel on the right.
Browse categories or use Describe a section you want to add to search. Inspect the results, then hover over a thumbnail and choose Add this for the design you want.
Wait for the new section to finish, then review its content and confirm that it was added at the selected position.
Adding a designed section uses Dru, including requests started from Add section. Manual editing does not create a new designed section.
Search results can include section types outside the category you first selected; inspect the design rather than assuming its features from your search terms. Categories can include Banner, Feature, Sell, Embed, Blog, and Custom. Availability can depend on the account and design. If an upgrade prompt appears, review it before proceeding.
Edit the new section
Select the section and ask Dru to change its content or layout, or choose Edit manually beside the input in the Dru panel on the right for its available fields. Generated examples are starting points: replace invented names, prices, statistics, reviews, and business details with your own information.
Redesign a section with Dru
Select the section and describe the layout or background you want. Dru can redesign a section, change its background, and add, remove, or reorder ordinary sections on the same page. For example: “Move the FAQ section above the contact form” or “Give this section a dark background and keep its text.” Name the page and section when the scope might be unclear, then review the result. Keep section-specific requests scoped to that section on the current page. A section's design is separate from the site's global styles.
Move or remove a section
Select the section and ask Dru to move it within the page or remove it. Name its intended position or the exact section to delete. The selected section's upper-right corner also has up/down arrows for moving it and a trash icon for removing it. Check the selection first so you do not remove a neighboring block.
The header/navigation and footer cannot be moved or deleted, including through Dru. Section duplication and moving a section directly between pages are not supported. If you need similar content elsewhere, add a new section on that page and provide the content again.
Check the page flow
Arrange sections around a visitor's task: introduction, details, evidence, and a clear next action. Preview on mobile after reordering. Check section-jump links if you removed or replaced a destination, using Add buttons and set link destinations to choose the intended section again, then publish when ready.
