An embed section lets visitors use a third-party widget or view custom content within a page on your website. If your provider supplies embed code, you can add it at the point where it is most useful to your visitors. Here's how to place the code and check that the content fits and works as expected.
Choose an embed section
Open the page and select Add section at the top or bottom edge of a section. In the panel on the right, choose Browse designs → Embed where available. If your account shows an upgrade prompt, review the plan requirement before continuing.
An embed section places content at a location on a page. For a script that should run across the website, open site settings using the gear in the upper-right corner of the editor, then choose Integrations → Custom code instead. Follow Add and manage site-wide custom code to choose Head or Body placement and manage the script.
Add the code
Get the embed code from the service you want to display. Select the embed section and open its code editor. Paste the supplied HTML, CSS, or JavaScript into the code field and finish the panel.
Follow the provider's instructions for which code belongs in the page and which belongs in the site's head or body. Only use code from reputable, trusted sources. Malicious code can compromise your website's security or functionality. Do not ask Dru to install tracking scripts or integrations; use their manual settings.
Check the result
Some embeds do not render fully inside the editor. Publish when ready and test the page at its website address. Check desktop and mobile widths, scrolling, and whether the provider requires a signed-in account. Test in different browsers too. Avoid overly complex scripts or extensive custom HTML that could slow the website or conflict with its structure.
For an iframe, a responsive width such as 100% can help it fit the available space. Set an explicit height, such as 450px, when the provider's instructions call for one; a height of 100% may not give the embed enough space. Check for clipping and unwanted scrolling on mobile. If it does not load, check the code, provider permissions, and any browser errors with the provider's support.
