Add and manage site-wide custom code

Install scripts through Integrations and choose whether they belong in the head or body.

Some services connect to your website through a script that runs across its pages, such as an analytics or cookie tool. You can manage those scripts in Integrations without adding the same code to each page. This guide shows you how to choose the right placement, check an installation, and disable or remove a script when needed.

Choose the correct location

Use site-wide custom code for a provider's script that needs to load across your website. Use Add an embed section with custom code when the content should appear at one position on one page; that guide covers page placement, iframe sizing, and testing the visible widget.

Add a script

  1. Open site settings using the gear in the upper-right corner of the editor, then choose Integrations.

  2. Open Custom code and choose the option to add a custom script or code to your website.

  3. Enter a recognizable name for the script.

  4. Choose its Placement: Head or Body, following the provider's instructions.

  5. Paste the supplied code and choose Save.

Head code is added near the end of the document head; Body code is added near the end of the body. Do not put a visible widget in the head simply because it is the first option.

Verify the integration

Only install code from a trusted source that has been tested for its intended use. Open the website and use the provider's installation test if one is available. Some scripts do not render inside the editor. If the code does not work as expected, check it with its creator first. If tested code still causes unexpected behavior on your Durable website, contact Durable support. Check that you have not installed the same script twice, particularly for analytics.

Custom-code settings can take effect separately from ordinary page edits. Review the website after saving rather than assuming all code changes wait for page publishing.

Disable or remove a script

Return to Integrations → Custom code, open the script's settings, and use Disable when you want to stop it without deleting the entry. Use Delete when you no longer need it. Check the website afterward.

Dru does not install tracking scripts or configure integrations. Manage these through their manual settings and use the provider's documentation for its code.
