The order in which your booking services appear can significantly impact how customers interact with your business. By strategically arranging your services, you can highlight popular options, guide customers through a logical flow, and improve their overall booking experience.

Managing Your Booking Service Order

How Service Order Appears to Customers

The order you set for your services in your Durable dashboard is exactly how they will be presented to your customers on your booking page. This means you have direct control over the initial impression and the ease with which customers can find and select the services they need. For more details on the customer experience, see "Understanding the Customer Booking Service Order" (new, being created in this batch).

Reordering Your Booking Services

You can easily adjust the display order of your booking services using a simple drag-and-drop method.

Accessing Booking Services

  1. From your Durable dashboard, click Bookings in the left-hand menu.

  2. In the top right corner of the Bookings section, click Services.

Alternatively, if you are in the website editor:

  1. Click the calendar icon.

  2. Then, click Services.

This will open Booking services modal, displaying a list of all your active services.

Dragging and Dropping Services

  1. In the "Booking services" modal, locate the service you wish to move.

  2. Click and hold the drag icon (represented by three dots) next to the service name.

  3. Drag the service up or down to its desired new position in the list.

  4. Release the mouse button to drop the service into place.

Your changes save and update in real-time, so there is no need to click a separate save button.

Best Practices for Service Order

Consider these tips when deciding on the order of your services:

  • Popularity: Place your most frequently booked or popular services at the top for quick access.

  • Logical Flow: If your services have a natural progression (e.g., consultation, then follow-up), arrange them in that sequence.

  • Duration or Price: You might choose to order services by duration (shortest to longest) or price (lowest to highest) to help customers compare options easily.

  • Highlight New Services: Temporarily place new services near the top to draw customer attention.
