Sections are the main way you structure content on a page. Each section controls a specific block of content and can be edited, moved, or redesigned independently.

Once you understand sections, you can build and rearrange pages quickly without breaking anything.

Adding a section

To add a section, open the page you want to edit and hover between existing sections.

When the Add Section control appears, click Add Section.

Path: Page Canvas > Add Section

This opens a panel showing available section types. Selecting a section creates it automatically and shows real-time updates as it’s generated.

Sections are always added to the current page.

Section controls and where to find them

Every section has its own controls.

Hover over a section and look at the bottom of the section to find its control bar. These controls affect only the selected section.

Common section controls include:

  • Edit

  • Design

  • Customize

  • Move Up

  • Move Down

  • Delete

Not every section includes every option, but the control location is always the same.

Editing section content

Most section content is edited directly on the page.

Click into text to edit it, update images, or change buttons. Section-specific content, such as metrics or form fields, is edited using the Edit or Customize options in the section controls.

Changes appear immediately so you can see the result as you work.

Changing how a section looks

To change a section’s layout or visual style, hover over the section and click Design.

Path: Section Controls > Design

Design options let you switch between preset layouts for that section type. These changes affect only the selected section, not the rest of the page or site.

Some sections also include a Customize option for additional section-specific settings.

Reordering sections on a page

Pages are built by stacking sections vertically.

To reorder a section:

  • Click Move Up to shift it higher on the page

  • Click Move Down to shift it lower on the page

You can reorder sections at any time without affecting their content.

Deleting a section

If you no longer need a section, hover over it and click Delete in the section controls.

Deleting a section removes it from the page immediately. If you change your mind, you can undo the deletion as long as you are still in the same editing session.

What sections do not do

Sections:

  • Do not affect other pages

  • Do not change global styles

  • Do not save or publish automatically

All changes must be published before they are visible to visitors.

Saving section changes

Section edits are part of your current editing session.

When you are finished, click Publish Changes to make your updates live.

Path: Website Options Bar > Publish Changes
